La porte Chenizelles permettait de passer du centre-ville à la cuve Saint-Vincent. Sous la porte, un aquaduc romain qui permettait de canaliser les eaux pluviales du plateau passait et se prolongeait sur la cuve.

The Cheruzelles Gate permitted passage from the city center to the St Vincent reservoir. Under the gate a Roman aquaduc allowed rain water to flow from the plateau to the reservoir below.
