The old drawing of the windmill at Pointe Claire shows how the point used to be. The mill was built in 1709. At one time, there was a fort here. Later a convent was built for the Congregation of Notre Dame. Today, the mill is still there AND a newer convent.
Sur le dessin de gauche, nous y retrouvons le moulin de Pointe Claire de l'époque, lequel a été bâti en 1709. Il y avait également un fort sur cette propriété. Par la suite, on y a construit un couvent pour la congrégation de Notre Dame. À ce jour, le moulin y est toujours ainsi qu'un couvent reconstruit.
