Aurore Sabourin and Albert Daoust

Ceci est la plus vieille photo d'Albert que j'ai trouvé. Aurore étais sa niece, la fille de sa soeur, Albina qui a mariée Joseph Sabourin à North Bay le 2 février, 1890.  La famille Sabourin à vécu à Cobalt en Ontario où cette photo à probablement été prise. L'année de la photo est un peu difficile à déterminer mais Aurore porte une jupe longue; elle était aussi de 9 ans plus jeune que son oncle Albert. En 1920, Aurore avait 26 ans et Albert 35. Ils ont l'aire d'avoir cet age mais je n'en suis pas si sure. Albert à commencer à travailer comme fermier et àpres dans l'industrie du bois, passant beaucoup de temps à l'extérieur - ce qui fait vieillir un homme! Les Sabourin étaient une famille travaillante et Aurore parraisait surement plus vieille.

This is the earliest photograph of Albert Daoust, I have found.  Aurore was his niece, the daughter of his sister, Albina who married Joseph Sabourin in North Bay on February 2, 1890.  The Sabourin family lived in Cobalt, Ontario where this photo may have been taken. The year of the picture is a little hard to determine but Aurore is wearing a full length skirt; she was also 9 years younger than her uncle Albert. In 1920, Aurore would have been 26 years of age and Albert, 35. They look about that age but I can't be sure.  Albert first worked as a farmer than in the lumber industry, spending hours in the great outdoors - does age a man! The Sabourins were a hard working family and Aurore probably looked older than her years.
