Le couple s'est marié le 7 janvier 1914 lorsque Cheri était âgé de 24 ans et Agnès de 18. Ils ont vécu à Sturgeon Falls en Ontario ou ils ont eu 8 enfants. Cheri a déjà été propriétaire d'un magasin de chaussures et il a ensuite travaillé en tant que boucher dans l'épicerie de mes grands-parents (Albert, Oliva et Cheri était tous cousins germains). L'épicerie se situait au coin de la rue Main et John. Ma tante, Georgette a également travaillé à l'épicerie et mon oncle, Herménégildes, son épouse, Rose et leur fils aîné ont vécu dans un appartement au dessus du magasin. L'épicerie a été fermée en 1939 et Cheri a arrêté de travailler. Il avait 50 ans. Il est décédé un an plus tard le 22 juin 1940.The couple were married on January 7, 1914. At that time, Cheri would have been 24 years old and Agnes 18. They lived in Sturgeon Falls, ON. They raised 8 children. Cheri at one time owned a shoe store. Later, he worked in my grandparent's grocery store as the butcher (Albert Daoust and Oliva Delorme were both his 1st cousins) . The store was located on the corner of Main and John Streets. My aunt, Georgette also worked here and my uncle Herménégildes, his wife, Rose and their eldest son, Ron lived in an apartment above the store. It closed c1939 and at that point, Cheri stopped working. He was 50 years old; he passed away a year later on June 22, 1940.
